The Secret to a Balanced Thyroid

What happens in the thyroid? The hormones of the thyroid, thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) influence the metabolism of each and every cell in our bodies. The thyroid is weakened by caffeine, Candida, radiation, metals, malabsorption, stress and sugar. Iodine can be used to balance the thyroid hormone levels but not in all cases.
